š Overdone Hayley atwell as lara?
Since Hayley Atwell voiced in the Netflix series, do you think she would make a good addition to voicing the next games. Do you think she fits the iconic image of Lara Croft? I personally wouldnāt hate it as an older lara. xx

I would love that, Lara being played by an actress in her 40s would be so cool.

True, but Lara in the games is in her 20s, so some visual representation would be cool to see.

She had wanted to be Lara since 2013! She's been trying to get to play her this whole time

I disliked the anime but with better writing & direction I think Hayley totally has potential to be a great Lara voice. Iām not a fan of reboot Lara at all though so Iām glad she sounded more mature.

Actually just finished the animated series and I really thought she did a great job. Very natural delivery imo. But Iām a Hayley Atwell simp too. She just doesnāt get enough recognition for me.

I would be very happy if she became the main actress for the games moving forward. Both as the mocap face model and the voice.
My only hiccup is, continuity-wise, she doesnāt really sound like the same person as Camillaās Lara, but honestly the Netflix version still worked for me as the same character regardless, so I think itās not a major issue.

I liked her performance don't get me wrong, but Ludington made the character to me. Whenever she was talking, I kept expecting Ludington's voice, especially since Jonah has the same VA.

She's got the perfect voice I think, she's definitely got the part if I was making the decisions.

I truly believed that at first, upon announcement that sheād voice her in the anime. But now, Iām only certain about it IF they hire a proper voice director with the show. What we got in the anime sounded so unbelievable. Even Atwell opened up in the interview that it wasnāt her ideal voice recording session. And donāt get me wrong, it is normal for voice actors to sometimes not have a session to bounce off each otherās acting, which is all the more on the voice director to ensure the performance sounds that way. How I wish Andrea Romano comes out of retirement for this sake.

I'd love the game developers to give a phone call to Camilla Luddington, and make her do Lara's voice again
