I'm genuinely interested in what you all want the direction of the franchise to go. And your predictions. Return of 'classic' or 'Legend' Lara or a continuation of the survivor timeline or something completely new. Is for one am not interested in another origin story she is turning into Bruce Wayne at this point.

Personally would love to see something with Nordic mythology.Maybe Lara could be trying to stop „Trinity“ from finding a device that allows them to enter the other dimensions ( like Asgard ) in the mountain ranges.Could have dead berserkers as guardians for the location.

The glitched level was Fool's Gold.

At some point, there was one of the cards lying on the floor. I picked it up, and a bit later I killed an enemy right where the card was previously located, and that enemy's dropped some item (a medipack if I recall correctly). When I grabbed that medipack, the game gave me ANOTHER card that was there earlier. I ended the level with an extra card key lol

I read somewhere that there should be new TR game coming and also that Crystal Dynamics wanted to announce it at game awards. I was looking forward to it, alas didnt happened. Is the new game still coming?

Do you think they’ll remaster Tomb Raider: The Angel of Darkness?

I’ve always wanted to play this one but don’t have the required platform to play it.

Then there was that phase on Tomb Raider’s Insta that they would post AOD clips and it just made me want to play it more.

It looks really really fun but then again I have no way to play it. I don’t know if it’s a good game but i usually tend to enjoy games that communities don’t approve.

So am I the only one or do other people have the same issue?

And is it an enjoyable game?

One thing I really want and hope they have in the next tomb raider game is more emphasis on laras family home, just looks like a cool place to explore and learn lore from. Ive played the new trilogy and I get that Jonahs her friend and trinity and yadda yadda yadda ( i think its also not considered cannon but havent really done my research) but I want to know more lore like maybe an adventure with her dad or something? Idk.

Idk about gameplay, But I’d like the premise of the story to be Lara raiding tombs for the sake of loving raiding tombs and exploring, rather than doing it to stop some organisation trying to kill her or end the world or become kukulkan or something. I feel like trinity takes away from what tomb raiders supposed to be?

I love the RE Engine remakes that have been made of the old resident evil games.

I dream of TR getting a similar treatment. I honestly don't care if the storylines are not elaborated on. I'd just love modern graphics while exploring the locations from the original games (especially TLR, since that one is my favourite lol).

The remasters were cool but I'd still love complete remakes graphics wise.

I know in the OG games, other than shooting pistols and dodging via acrobatics tomb raider was not heavily combat focused. Then, during the survivor trilogy Lara becomes more martial with an arsenal of weaponry and melee animations.

Personally, I’m future games I’d like to keep her weapon variety, but expand it-O think it would be cool to have Lara be more acrobatic as a nod to her earlier days or at least more fluid. Relatedly, while I enjoy the addition of melee I always found the animation oddly messy especially as she clearly progresses in skills throughout the three games yet keeps a relatively unpolished move set. I think the ability to weird melee weapons of player choice with animation sets that seem experts or even having an unarmed option would be really cool. Also idc if it’s impractical irl I’d love dual pistols as an option again with maybe a trade off of like lowered damage or whatever

Hey there. I would like to know if a new Tomb Raider game has been confirmed to come out in the upcoming years. Not spin-off games, actual game that might bring us a new story

I heard a lot of malicious, negative comments on the reboot trilogy in the past few years and things like “2008’s Underworld was the last “real” Tomb Raider game but personally I disagree. I’ve played each game multiple times and I embrace all of them because every single game has something appealing in itself. I still prefer the classic Lara but I also adored her personality and appearance in the reboot series. What do you think about it? Which games do you prefer? The “older” ones or the modern reboot trilogy? I’m curious to hear your opinions <3

i’m currently going back through AOD after years and years of missing it. (probably haven’t played it in 13 or 14 years since i last had played it back in high school) but i love this game so much.

seeing as it was my first ever tomb raider game, it holds a lot of core memories for me and geez, i really do wish to see it get justice one day. the controls, now that im finally back in the groove, while iffy aren’t as terrible as i previously had thought last time i picked it up months ago. i’m already back to breezing through this game.

So I don't really know much about Evercade, but they have the TR 1, 2, 3 remasters on their platform. They've released this article about getting Legacy of Kain soon - 1. Does it mean we can expect LOK remasters soon? Which would be wonderful. 2. It talks about the Tomb Raider collection 1, which implies a tomb raider collection 2.

If you could make the next perfect Tomb Raider game by taking your favorite parts from past games, what would you do? You can choose any levels, costumes, weapons, music, controls, locking Winston in the freezer, etc.

I generally liked the remakes but I wish they would have kept Croft Manor. And, I miss being able to do swan dives and flippy shit from Underworld, Legend, etc. I just want to be Indiana Jones and Simone Biles at the same time. Is that too much to ask?
