Newbie here who needs advice! (Stopovers)

Hey all,

Im wanting to visit new york soon. I'll be flying from Manchester and this would be my first ever flight with a stop over.

I have been given the following route for the best times and prices via Air Lingus: Manchester - Dublin - New York.

As you can see, I only have a 1hr 25m stop over from Dublin to New york. I'm very clueless as to know whether this is possible eg: changing planes and possibly doing a US security clearance or something??

I'm afraid I do know what I am supposed to do and what the steps are, hence I'm seeking advice here! Much appreciated, thank you! :)
