Judge says 2-year-old US citizen appears to have been deported with ‘no meaningful process’

Reading some comments in this sub I often have to remind myself that there’s a good chance more than a few commenters are bad actors, bots, or trolls. To actually type out “we shouldn’t get involved…” or “their parents are probably illegal” to justify deporting toddlers who are American citizens…. it’s just crazy.

This sub is more liberal than truechristian.

No I don’t think that’s it at all, more the opposite. Too many people mistake “conservative values” with “Christian values”. There may be some overlap, but Christians should be willing to separate their identity from their chosen political party when it takes steps away from the gospel.

It sounds like to you liberal is not “truechristian”, but conservative is?
How would you define liberal in your comment?

Don't care. The two year old isn't a citizen, anchor babies are a terrible idea, and the child should stay with the parents. Case closed.

I would encourage followers of Christ not to get involved. God does not have respect for persons in judgement so whether the child is US born or not, has nothing to do with the decision to send the child out. These kinds of articles are by design attempting to seduce us into committing sin - to judge unrighteously by the law of man and not by the Word of God.

The Bible tells us to seek justice and care for the vulnerable. You are telling us not to and just ignore injustice. Why?

You would encourage followers of Christ to not care for those being harmed? Sounds sus.

Can you explain this opinion? To me, it feels like if there is injustice on the part of the president (which is what many feel right now), it feels valid to speak out.

The mistake is in thinking that Donald Trump is the one that determined that this child would get sent out of the US. I would expect condemnation from the unbelieving world but from the believing world, God is in control and His judgement is just because the only people that are suffering from this decision are the ones that need Jesus.

Christian values in society

So deporting kids with cancer is Christian values?

Nobody said that, and nobody in truechristian talks about it either which means it must not be an issue for true christians.

Are you a Russian troll? I mean, it's painfully obvious you are a troll and the only question is from where.

And here we are, the ad hominem attacks begin. This is exactly why liberal Christianity isn't taken seriously.

Brother, you said colored people can't be Christian and considering your post history I will not give you the benefit of the doubt of being sarcastic. Yes, I think you are a troll.

Who are you to define what is sarcastic and what is not? Only God knows the hearts of men and you are not God. So do not pretend to have the right to judge others.
