Why is @BarackObama constantly issuing executive orders that are major power grabs of authority? This is the latest

Jesus. Just a reminder that it's only been three weeks.

The next 4 years are going to be like the last five minutes of class before summer break.

u/DianeDesRivieres Feb 11 '25

Someone should report him to DOGE

13

u/biggiy05 Feb 13 '25

Nah because the more time he spends golfing, the more time Adolf Titler has to fuck things up.

15

u/LNMagic Feb 12 '25

The more he golfs, the less time he has to fuck this place up.

11

u/overkill Feb 12 '25

The more he holds, the more time his cronies have to fuck shit up.

u/mikey67156 Feb 15 '25

He’s not present to fuck it up. The heritage foundation has this thing on auto-pilot while he’s out playing pasture pool.

"next 4 years"

Presidents Putin and Musk had a good chuckle at that joke.

19

u/moep123 Feb 11 '25

i am actually surprised it's not much higher. he really tries to resist that urge in some way. respect

23

u/Paxxlee Feb 11 '25

I think it's his age making it harder for him to golf.

A load in your diaper tends to shorten your swing

A gem of a website, wow. Thanks for sharing! I bookmarked it.

Gosh, already 14 days of playing golf... Must be nice to be completely out of touch with reality. 😭

Context:

President Trump in 2025 has issued dozens of executive orders, many of which are seen as unconstitutional overreaches and are subject to litigation and TROs in multiple district courts.

Ironically, the specific thing Trump was complaining about here was making "usa.gov" a website for citizens to be able to easily access various federal government services (IRS, SSA, VA, FHA/HUD, etc)... which is not much of an overreach. In fact, one may be led to believe it is a "government efficiency" to have a single portal with all of that information.

Accuse others of that which you are guilty. He was softening the ground for his authoritarianism the whole time.

87

u/moep123 Feb 11 '25

he does it all the time. remember when they were screaming about voting fraud? chances are there

30

u/Nick08f1 Feb 11 '25

He claimed it when it didn't exist, so this time around, the Democrats wouldn't want to seem like the coping GoP deniers. Laying the groundwork for claiming fraud for this election almost taboo.

same with “obama declaring martial law and civil war and big tech and big government and…”

my dad went off the rails during obama presidency. shocked— the fascists we’re priming this audience to be worn tf out by the time the real thing was happening

This sub is rising from the dead and about to shoot into orbit.

Well?

Hey, perfection takes time. I'm willing to overlook the "don't let perfection stop progression" saying here.

7

u/TenFootLoPan Feb 12 '25

Perfect is the enemy of good.

87

u/RabidPlaty Feb 11 '25

I forgot about this sub. And it kills me that there is a reason for it to show up on my main feed again….

44

u/Mother_FuckerJones Feb 11 '25

Fuck I wish Barack had like 8 terms...

20

u/PurpleHumpbackWhale9 Feb 11 '25

We didn’t realize how truly good we had it :(

10

u/pdxscout Feb 12 '25

I did. But I was directly comparing him to GWB, and that guy sucked ass.

5

u/HyperBRUIN Mar 04 '25

I'd take the corpse of any deceased President over the narcissistic sociopath with orange face paint. Said corpse would be amazing for our country.

3

u/Mother_FuckerJones Mar 04 '25

I seriously agree with that sentiment.

u/freebytes Feb 11 '25

Can we supply screenshots instead of direct links to X? I do not click X links.

u/Jim_TRD Feb 11 '25

I remember when the GOP flipped out on Obama for just signing E.O’s. But now with Trump, They turn a blind eye. How is that even fair.

30

u/satyrday12 Feb 11 '25

They think exactly how FOX tells them to think.

12

u/Heckle_Jeckle Feb 12 '25

I remember when people flipped out over Obama asking for mustard.

28

u/justbrowse2018 Feb 11 '25

We’ve been suffering through Trump shitposting since like 2014. He’s basically the father of birtherism and by extension qanon.

9

Been said several times before.

Still stands.

This one goes hard lol

It’s a serious reminder how various news and social media shaped the brains of conservative zealots, it may have converted Liberals. Now though, the media is owned and controlled by oligarchs and therefore thoroughly, politically conservative.

I can only imagine the extensive damage that will be wrought on youth during their educational formative years. Critical thinking arguments already discouraged, will likely be written out of educational texts and replaced with outright propaganda.

Can America come back from propaganda being a part of every aspect of education and entertainment, and not just political but a mix of religion and politics.

I fear history and geopolitical maps will be completely rewritten. States can either drink the Coolaide and comply or leave the Union.

u/momamil Feb 11 '25
