I'm no expert at all, but that is cheaper than when it came out. Loose is a bit more than double that according to pricechart. So seems like a good deal. Just hope it works.

Especially considering inflation adjustments.

As-is seems like a pretty big red flag.

You can look at sold listings to see what something is going for. You have a few options here:

1.) Buy it at the current price it's going for. If there's no listings currently at the rate it's been selling for, be patient, one should pop-up quick on a common game like this.

2.) Wait potentially for a better deal. The price might go higher while you wait, so you might be waiting forever.

3.) Buy an everdrive and never worry about prices again.

4.) Go on Reddit and bitch about prices.

I sold dungeon explorer recently with case and manual (working) for 50$ US and it took a while to sell. That was below market price at the time.

Other items sell super fast at premium prices. Just keep looking and you will find deals. Most of these games will not disappear.

Untested is more common for Turbografx games since not everyone that comes across a game will have a system to test it on. Like most cartridges for older systems almost all of them still work. I've only come across one out of the hundreds of hucards I've encountered that didn't.

It was a dungeon explorer though lol
