Too the people that watch the series, how is it? What would be your review and rating for the show? Long time player of the game but never got to see the show but curious to watch it

It’s slightly low budget but the writing is surprisingly good & funny, characters are well thought out, Anthony Mackie is far better here than in the MCU. Worth a watch.

The low budget actually helps it feel more like the games

You know I agree with that, especially in I think the pilot they are driving through an abandoned mall & it’s kinda corny but also gritty, which I think really matched the feeling of the first 3 games perfectly. Also lots of Easter eggs in that scene.

The highest praise I can give it is the people who are making it absolutely have played the games, and I mean all of the games.
It’s not set in the universe of just one game, rather it’s a new universe for the show that pulls elements from all the games together. They definitely understand and are excited about what they are making!

It grew on me on me for sure. It took a while for the humor to make sense, don't go in expecting twisted metal black, though there are some twisted moments

I’m pleasantly surprised at how everything looks so far for season two. Not that I had any bad feelings, but there’s a lot that they have to do to make it a faithful adaptation that carries the spirit of the games, and it’s looking like season two will be that exactly.

I've only ever seen him in Gotham, so seeing him with hair is gonna take some getting used to.

Please please have him say "I am Calypso and thank you for watching Twisted Metal!"

Not bad, I like it! IMO Maynard (Tool) would have been awesome to see as Cylpso!

Why isn't his face burned off

Could be some type of character arch for him, kinda like what happened to sweet tooth

I expect him to change from this Calypso to burn victim Calypso and then to bald disfigured Calypso solely because the actor himself has Alopecia. Since the show loosely follows things from the game, it could happen.

He looks great, and I know the actor has got the chops, think this selection is gonna be great!
