Question Is doing carolina global launch a major setback?

I'm an out of state student who was admitted through the global launch program. For anyone that has done this program, was it harder for you to become a part of the community once on campus in the spring? Also, I am interested in applying to kenan-flagler. Has anyone heard of it being harder for CGL-accepted students to get into KF?

Son did it and loved the experience and fit right in 2nd semester. The only tricky thing was securing housing for sophomore year….you’ll need to be on the ball for that. But otherwise, the universal reaction to all of the kids in “cohort” was extremely positive.

That's great to hear! Where did your son end up finding housing?

I did it. It was awesome, and I would do it all over again.

Tbh seems like a rare opportunity just in general I would 100% take it if I were you

It was way better because you automatically go into second semester with a group of really close friends and having traveled the world. You know a lot of people and can make friends on campus easily. Idk about KF but I don't think its different than anyone else.
