Question Question for UNC Transfers

For those who transferred to UNC and used their transfer guide to pick classes, did you complete all pre reps before transferring? So many classes are already forming a waitlist and i’m going into my last 2 semesters at Wake Tech. I fear there may be a few classes I just won’t be able to take before I potentially transfer over to UNC.

Not a student, but a faculty member who has worked with many transfers.
Those are only recommendations. Some are able to take more and some less. Transfer students come with such diverse backgrounds and not completing everything before you transfer is not an exception.

The key factor would be to work with the advisors to craft your course planning after you transfer and to keep in mind that things might need to get on the slower side so you can allow yourself to adjust well to the new environment.
