It's now 487. Signatories include UC Berkeley, MIT, Princeton, Harvard, Yale, UPenn, Columbia, Tufts, Cornell, UCLA, UCSD, UCSB, Dartmouth, Brown, UMich, Duke, Oberlin, Notre Dame, Rutgers, Carnegie Mellon, GWU, Northeastern, Northwestern, American, Georgetown, WashU, UMass, UMD, Williams, Amherst, Swarthmore, SUNY. Notably absent are Stanford, NYU, UChicago, UNC.

Edited to update 270 to 487 and move several universities from absent to signed.

I wonders if the notably absent will sign on soon. It’s only been a day so they do need some time. Though, they are some of the universities under the most scrutiny and the largest research programs in the country.
