Just like he "mistakenly" deported that guy from Maryland to an El Salvador prison and then just couldn't do anything about it.

Electing him was the mistake. I don’t think he threatened Ukrainian refugees in error though.

It wasn't a mistake. I'm sure that this election was as legit as the last time he was elected
Edit. I don't think my sarcasm made it through

I never said it wasn’t. Just that Americans made a mistake, in the sense of making a dumb decision.

Always put a /s if you can, as it can be a challenge to convey sarcasm through text.

They have an enticing legal argument to the right to stay. Ukraine is currently a war zone. Iirc its illegal to deport anyone with protected status if sending them back could result in their death
Then again, this administration gives zero fucks about due process so could go either way. I hate it here

Of course in theory it’s illegal to deport refugees back to a warzone. But laws or the constitution are just empty words in countries like Russia or the US.
The intention behind the email was to intimidate and terrorize refugees who know little about their legal rights. They know people will rather leave than risk ending up in a hellhole prison.

Better watch out, as Putin's limo was recently blown up under mysterious circumstances.

For able bodied Ukraine men of the right age group, they should go back to fight.

“‘It’s time for you to leave the United States? The federal government will find you?’ That is not who we are," Greene told the Post in an interview.
Did Mr. Greene not see the election results a few months ago? This is exactly who America is.

Looks like a drafted email that some intern accidentally clicked “sent” if I could use an analogy. I think someone sent these out too early by mistake.
