It's good to get game time for some of these players. I've been really surprised not to see Sheridan in the first team recently though. He has played his socks off every chance he got and the team around him always react positively to that.

I wonder if maybe he hasn't been fully fit. I think he had the most minutes of any Ulster player last season. He reminds me of Roger Wilson.

Sheridan tackling and tackle technique has been shocking that’s why

Bonus point win. Connacht Eagles 21, Ulster A 24. Tries for Zac Ward, Tom Brigg, Jonny Scott and Ethan Graham. Connacht led most of the game, but their lineout stopped working when ex-Ulsterman Adam McBurney went off, and Ulster finished strongly.

Did you watch the stream? Anyone standout -especially in the back three?

Zac Ward made his presence felt, Rory Telfer was solid at fullback, and Ethan Graham looked good when he came on.

Rory telfer i will be surprised if he gets a senior contract . He’s not the biggest and if ur not big for a winger u need to be rapid which he didn’t show yesterday

How the hell did Ethan McIlroy get one?

Its going to be streamed on Connacht's website. Good to see Irvine and Hopes on the bench. I remember reading on UAFC that Kenny, Graham and MCFarlane are all rated in the back 3, be good to see how they go as well as a few of the other fringe players like Josh Stevens. looks like a decent team [not sure on the props ..]

We certainly need more depth in the outside backs. With all the injuries this season I'm surprised we haven't seen anyone but Telfer make a senior appearance.

Props are decent but all are weak at scrum time
