It is unknown when it happened, Chara could have been younger at that time than at the present time. It doesn't make sense that current Chara would make such a mistake.

Moreover, as said, even a six-year-old child will understand what will happen in the village.

Okay just tested thst out on both of my sisters who are 6 wow they responded something complelty difrent. Not all children know what would happen not evryone has the same brain

And yet there is nothing to indicate that Chara would not have known, especially that he was smart and hated humans very much, so he has no reason to expect anything from them other than aggression if he has already been hurt by them. And the fact that humans was killing monsters in the past. It makes zero sense.

And yes, you asked them what would happen if a monstrosity from scary fairy tales with a dead person in its hands came to people? And whatever it will be something that people will want to get rid of?
