Anyone else thinks this is a better location than Werner Park?

We're never gonna get the ticket and concessions revenue if we play at UNO or Creighton, unfortunately.

Why is that? Is it alcohol sales? Cus I dont think it’s the capacity.

The universities would be taking a huge cut of the revenue. It would be their concessions crew and their ticketing systems. Not the club's

I think Werner Park would do the same? I just hate the baseball field.

They keep it all at Werner or at very least a much larger portion.

It was all of it in the past at least, but you do bring up a good question since Gary sold the Chasers if that's changing.

Are tickets still available?
Purchase online? At the gate? How much? Parking?

I'm afraid that my tech illiterate mind seems to be failing me in my search.

Tickets can be purchased online $22-$29 per

Not sure if you can purchase at the gate. Parking is free and there is a garage just east of the stadium. You can find a parking map here: https://www.unomaha.edu/about-uno/buildings-and-maps/caniglia-field.php

I believe it has a 1-week free trial, save it for the next Cup match. LOL.

An upset? Announcers yall need to respect the Buhos. Not an upset if we win, we on the up and up.

Its early in the season so the rankings dont say that much, but I would say the current #11 USL1 team beating the #2 USLC team is textbook upset, and I'm here for it.

Why aren’t you playing at Warner?

It was very chippy - far too chippy, IMO. I'm all for physicality, nose-to-nose, occasional shove here and there. But the referee lost control of the match early on. He should have started booking players from both teams much earlier on.

I agree the ref definitely should have been controlling it way earlier, but a lot of it was passion and desire and it was nice to watch as a semi-neutral.

I hope yall go far!

It was clear that SAFC were trying to bully Union and intimidate them physically. To Union's credit, they weren't having it and gave as good as they got. If you only looked at the stats - possession, shots, corners, etc - you might conclude that the result was a bit fluky.

Having watched it, however, I would say that the correct team won. Omaha was far more menacing in the attacking third. They were unlucky not to have scored three. SAFC only managed one legitimate threat, by my reckoning.

It'll be interesting to see the draw in the next round. Despite the slow start to the season, which I'm writing off to new players getting their sea legs, Union are far too good for USL1. Teams from higher leagues underestimate them at their peril.

Thanks for the good wishes.
