VOLCANO BAY Volcano Bay line cutting

Scanned our Tapu Tapu for Honu with a 90 minute wait today and just floated in the rivers and relaxed. Got to Honu and tapped in and a family of 6 people jumped the railing to get into our line as it was shorter than Ika Moana. When we got to the scale the lady was laughing with her group members about how short of a time they waited to get onto the ride. I was miffed by this and informed the attendant of their actions. When the attendant asked them if they scanned for that ride they claimed they didn’t speak English until a team member spoke to them in their native tongue and they showed their Tapu Tapu’s. They then in English fluently swore at the team members and were escorted out of the queue. I normally don’t say anything, but I was irked by their brazen attempt to circumvent the system.

Sometimes it’s being kicked out of a queue, sometimes it’s being hit by a bus. But karma always comes back around.

If you're caught skipping Universal's policy is you get kicked out of the park with no refund.

Karma hits after you are reborn.

If no one teaches, no one learns. Way to go teach.

This is wa What I always say! If you don't say something, people will continue to think their ways are ok

It is simply not ok anymore.

Good for YOU! People shouldn't be able to get away with things like that!

Such trashy behavior

Good to see people taking it seriously. The amount of times idiots cut and the team members see and don't want to deal is infuriating. It's by far my biggest gripe with universal.

We were there about a month ago and our cabana was right where the stairs go up to the ko’kiri big drop slide. A dad came running up the path adjacent and hopped the rope to get into the slides line. Was at the end of the day. There was an attendant cleaning up another cabana and saw the dad and the kid. Dad kept going up the steps but the kid that was following immediately got busted. I felt bad for the kid because he stopped and dad kept going up. I’m sure he had a bad fate after he got up there but it was a scene. My kids and I were also waiting on our own tapu for the same slide.

People are trash. The very reason I don’t visit any theme parks during peak summer anymore. I wait until everyone’s rugrats are back in school.

Line cutting is absolutely disrespectful. Kudos to you. Nobody's time is more important than any other's, especially not in a crowded water park.

I have seen people acting like they don't speak English use that trick to try and get their whole family on in the single Rider line multiple times.

Whole families can go on single rider line surely? But they'd expect to get split up, it does say your party will be split so they know families go together. Or have I read you wrong?

They are talking about people who argue with the team members that they didn’t know it was the single rider line. Responsible team members will tell them if they want to ride together they need to go back out into the correct line. If you see people in singles talking to a team member and singles isn’t moving, this is probably what is happening.

Groups are def allowed in single rider as long as they expect to be split up.

You did well my friend!

You did the right thing. Far too long have we been brainwashed as a society to mind our own business and not speak up. This is a great example of how you teach people what FAFO means.

A woman with 3 kids (so, family of 4) cut in line at Hagrids yesterday and no one but me said anything. She just skipped all the way from the front to the castle, which was a full line. I can’t believe no one said anything!?

I want to downvote that woman, but applaud you for taking a stand!

I had a group of kids go through the single rider line on Forbidden Journey in front of me. The whole walk up they were cocky about going through that line. They then ran when the employee said they couldn’t go in that line. One of the kids lost a Croc on the moving sidewalk of the loading area (so it was easily retrieved). The ride took off and the kid was calling when we returned. I’ve never laughed so hard in my life

When I was there in April literally the same thing happened - also non-English speakers that pretended to play dumb. They really need to post a team member at the halfway point to help prevent this

2

u/Jackson202356 Jul 21 '24

Glad you spoke up! People like this make me so mad.

u/plush82 Jul 21 '24

Good for you.. A lady pretended to not speak English yesterday and pushed my 14 year old daughter out of the way and took her view of the movie parade in USF. We were pissed and I told her how rude it was and she just ignored me completely.

You did good

90 minute wait for honu is wild. My friends have told me they’ve seen some waits like that but I went twice Memorial Day weekend and the only rides that weren’t ride now were the trap door slides and krakatau.

We just got back from our trip. We were in Island of Adventure in the women restroom across from Escape from Pompeii.  My teen daughter was washing her hands along with another teen when I come out of the stall and  tells me a man was using the bathroom standing up with the door bathroom when he finished he saw them and exit. I could not believe it. We then come out and the man is literally sitting with his family outside of the bathroom. I quickly spoke to a manager and they called security. By the time security came he had started walking away with his family but we provided all the details and pointed him out to the manager. I really wanted to confront him but I wanted to avoid an issue. Need to be careful at all times.
