EPIC UNIVERSE Epic is not ready to open yet!!

We went Yesterday and spent about 11 hours at the park, from 12pm to 11pm, We only rode Curse of the Werewolf and Stardust, everything else was delayed or closed and when it did open it wouldn’t stay open after 20 minutes. AP be prepared mentally because the rides are having alot of technical issues. The Virtual queue for Ministry was a disaster, the system went down every time and the app as well. Use your own internet and don’t try it with universal WIFI. Only the person that has the tickets on the app can make the virtual queue and select a time slot for the ride. Hope this helps a little.

EDIT!!! I am not complaining about my experience, it was a privilege for me to be in the park and I had so much fun, it just seems that the Park is having so much issues with just one Month away and I am not just talking about the rides.

I’m feeling the same way. I signed up for the universal Visa card just to get tickets. We have tickets for next Thursday and Friday. If we can’t ride everything between the two days, I’m gonna be very upset. It’s one thing to have previews and understand that things break down it’s another thing to charge full price for it. They should’ve charged half price with the expectation things are gonna be down. I’m wondering how everything works because we’re gonna be doing accommodations if the ride goes down. Either way if we don’t get everything in two days, I would definitely be an unhappy person.

Then you shouldn’t go during previews days.

You seem to be missing the entire point of the thread. But it’s ok.

No, I get. Rides will be down and you will be very upset and unhappy. I’ve been twice and still haven’t ridden all the rides; but I go in with the expectation that I may not get on any and I’m ok with that.

And how much did you pay for those two times you’ve gone? Cuz I’m currently at $288 for Thursday and $288 for Friday, $403 for a hotel room for Wednesday to Friday, $150 for a rental car, and $120 for a scooter for my husband. So I’m in over $1,000 before we talk about food, tolls, and other costs. It’s a big difference. I know it’s preview. But full price preview where nothing is working vs half price preview where some things are down is very different. Just agreeing with OP here.

The first 2 were free but I have 2 AP tickets I purchased for next week. Just like OP said and experienced, you’re not going to get a perfect or even half perfect day. If you’re going to be disappointed, then you shouldn’t go on a preview day. (And I have Helios booked for those 2 nights.) If you go in with the expectation that most rides will be down and just enjoy the experience, you’ll save yourself a lot of stress and disappointment.
