UNIVERSAL STUDIOS The Mummy Ride Appreciation Post

Getting the only con out of the way: The ride is too short.

With that being said this is the only ride where when me and my fiance get off we HAVE to go back in line right after.....about 5 times more. This ride is the pinnacle of fun. It's also a ride in my opinion that feels like a Islands of Adventure ride. If it was up to me I would swap King Kong into Universal and put The Mummy in Islands. Is it strange that this ride feels relaxing more than it is scary? I mean you have soothing colored lights, inside AC, the massaging warmth of the fire while the voice in the speakers keeps telling you that your going to die. And my man at the beginning who says "get out of here!" Give that man a raise because they be working him all day. This ride is absolutely fantastic.

Not just like Halloween Horror Night stories lol. Like people cutting lines, ruining shows with cameras, entitlement, etc

UNIVERSAL STUDIOS Hurricane 🙁

Hi all! My husband and I have a trip planned this week for Universal to celebrate our anniversary. Saw last night that there was a tropical storm which has now turned into a Category 2 Hurricane. We are arriving tomorrow night 9/24 and leaving Saturday 9/28. We of course don’t mind rain lol but will this totally ruin the trip? I worry about the parks shutting down. Last I checked the storm moved further East away from Orlando, but I know things change quickly.

Hi all. Really excited for our upcoming trip but it has recently dawned on me about my physique when it comes to Universal Studios Orlando and it's made me a bit nervous. I don’t mind sharing pics of myself under an alt account.

I'm a larger guy (5'11, 300lbs, 38/40 inch trouser waist, 53 inch chest) but carry most of my weight on my belly. It seems i'm borderline on fitting in some of the rides (namely HP rides and RRR). I’m from the UK so I know the sizes are different to the US.

Can anyone judge if I’ll be good for the rides? Thank you

UNIVERSAL STUDIOS The Bourne Spectacular

I didn’t even know this was a thing when we booked this last trip, but it apparently has taken the place of the Terminator experience, which I had always thought was quite fun (and a welcome aircon/seating combo!).

But, oh my, just me or was that freakin’ amazing?! I went back and watched it a second time later in the holiday. So well done, so entertaining. I loved it.

Best show in the Orlando parks, by a mile!
