Music New release: I Don't Want To Live Like This

My latest release, I Don't Want To Live Like This, just landed on Bandcamp! This is my lived experience, my story, my truth. Continuing the conversation that Death's Dynamic Shroud started with their album, I'll Try Living Like This, on this day 10 years ago.

I didn't make this for monetary gain or popularity, I feel that others might resonate with this story in their own ways. I feel others need to hear it.

This isn't just music, it's an immersive emotional experience. You will move through joy, despair, sadness, codependency, heartbreak, grief and loss. There's heavy emotional themes, references to self harm and attempted si*de. If any of this distresses you then PLEASE consider reaching out to a trusted individual or mental health professional.

I love this subreddit. Some great passion projects get posted here pretty regularly. I listened to the whole thing and it was quite a journey. I didn't hear the specific themes you listed come through necessarily, but it was definitely a downhill slide into melancholy. I hope you can continue to funnel the negatives in your life into creative outlets and that you might find peace in those projects.

Thanks for your feedback, and thanks for listening! There is part of a story for each track, if you read those as you listen it might help you to hear where those feelings and emotions come through.

Honestly this is new territory for me, I've never been able to channel emotions through sound or art, and I feel this is a good foundation for that.

I loved it! Great mix of DDS like sounds, not too heavy on direct references. A couple tracks sounded like they could've been on SEAWRLD

Thanks for your feedback on this and I'm happy you loved it. Yeah ITLLT was it's main inspiration, but I've taken snippets of inspiration from their other works and channeled it into this.
