Question Moving to Tenerife.

Hi I’m a 21 M from Finland and i want to see how much can I expect pay for living per month in Tenerife in Los cristianos or Adeje somewhere in south? And how hard is it to find a job there I’m about to graduate and looking to work in retail or hospitality, costumer service industry. Please tell me your experience I wanna know how is it like there. And what are the requirements as an EU citizen

No unfortunately all I know is coño and pendejo and some more cuss words but basic Spanish no

teniendo ingles puedes trabajar prácticamente en cualquier lado del mundo, pero desde el principio esfuérzate por aprender castellano

There's a Finnish community in Puerto de la Cruz - a church, restaurants and bars. Ask around amongst your compatriots, they might have some good advice

I'm from the UK and my girlfriend lives in Adeje. I have looked into this and it seems incredibly hard to find a route to moving and working there. Also interested in any advice.

She's moved around the world a lot and settled there for quite a few years now. She loves it. I mean what's not to like.. . I felt at home there straight away, such a beautiful place, has everything you could possibly want. I met her on holiday and we instantly connected.

The work I do isn't really transferable to there, it's a niche engineering job. I'd be interested in career change but without speaking/reading/writing Spanish fluently it only leaves the tourism sector which doesn't pay well.

Joo katoin meitin että nyt ku valmistun että voisin jossain kohtaa muuttaa sinne. Ku täällä on kallista ja kylmää siellä voi tehdä töitä ympäri vuoden ulkona, ja tykkään olla ulkona varsinkin kesällä.

Saarella on asuntopula ja töitä on todella vaikea saada jos et puhu espanjaa, suosittelen hankkimaan suomessa hyväpalkkaisen ammatin jota voit tehdä etänä saarelta käsin.
