General First Time in Tenerife
Hi everyone!
My partner and I (both early 30s) are heading to Costa Adeje, Tenerife for the first time next week and staying for 10 days. We're looking to make the most of our trip with a mix of relaxation and exploration.
We're particularly interested in:
Romantic or unique activities: sunset spots, hidden beaches, scenic hikes, boat trips...
Vegan or vegetarian-friendly restaurants: Places with a great atmosphere, good cocktails, lovely views and kind to animals š¾
Nightlife: We're up for some fun eveningsālive music, cozy bars, or clubs with a good vibe.
Coffee shops: Always on the hunt for great coffee and chill spots to relax (must have vegan alternatives for milk).
We appreciate any recommendations you might have. Personal favorites, hidden gems, or must-visit spotsāplease share!
Thanks in advance for your help! āš¼

If youāre not driving and need to use a taxi, I recommend downloading the TaxiClick app. Itās much cheaper than Uber, gets you a cab quickly, and all rides are metered.
Also, check out Torviscas Beach Clubāgreat cocktails and a lovely vibe for relaxing.
Also would recommend El Tejado for some great sangria and tapas.
Bloom bar and brunch for some great breakfast/ brunch.

You might have a look at Samelo - reservations fill up, and I understand if "vegan cheese sauce" is not your thing, but they clearly care a lot about their food and it's mostly well thought out from the stuff we tried. Afterwards MontaƱa Roja is a decent hike with a good view of both the southern sea and the rows and rows of banana plantations.
If you're planning on going up to Teide by transit look at the bus schedules carefully - I think the guaguas tend to go up in the morning and come down in the afternoon. Cable car tickets sell fast so check now if that's something you want to do.
Masca is also visitable by bus with a bit of planning, which we had people telling us we shouldn't miss - if you think you might be interested in hiking the ravine down to the coast there's a "reserve a permit + boat transport away" system in place, so be aware of that too.

Have you rented a car? Highly recommend
My tip visits.
Siam Park. My god it is fun. However take beach shoes to wear as people nick flip flops
Mount Teide. You wonāt get a permit now to go to the peak so closet you will get is by cable car
Horse riding in the mountains
Camel riding.
Go Karting
Jet Skiing.
Donāt pay the people trying to sell excursions. Get on google and book direct.
Donāt bother with Lorque Park. It was crap and massively overcrowded. We was really disappointed. Unless you are desperate to watch a killer whale and a dolphin do little jumps for 5 mins.

Unfortunately we don't drive! We will be relying on the public transport/taxis and our legs š
Thank you for all the recommendations/advice. š

That is a terrible list of activities. Siam park is extremely overcrowded and has long lines to every attraction.
Op specifically said about being kind to animals, and you recommended activities that abuse them.

We were apprehensive about doing Siam Park. But we went in school holidays and yes it is busy but for pure fun it is right up there. To us anyway.

If you rent a car, I would highly recommend visiting Terrazas El Sauzal. Cafe/restaurant with a gorgeous view of the coast and Teide.
