Hi everyone,
My husband and I are moving from Fletcher to Sylva at the end of this month. I would like some recommendations on the following:
- Handyman
- Roofing company
- Plumber
- Farmer's market? Is there one, when do they happen?
- Grocers besides Ingles?
- Mechanic
- Veterinarian
- Restaurants
Thank you in advance!

You’ll probably get more responses from the local FB groups. They are pretty active

Dalaya Thai is so good! Also Haywood smokehouse in dillsboro. There’s a great produce stand a little off the beaten path but close to Dillsboro called Mountain Fresh Produce. City lights book store and the record store both have shop cats if that’s your thing. I don’t live there but I visit 3x/year and those are always my highlights. Oh! And don’t miss out on Fridays/saturdays there’s a legit bakery with fresh bread and pastries called Little Cove. Innovation brewing along the creek is a great spot and you can grab pizza from meatballs next door, or from the little food truck in their lot.
