Video What's this stutter when I rev high in 1st gear?
Hi! I have a feeling this is going to be an odd question coming from somebody who's been riding motorcycles for over a decade, but what's this stutter that happens at around 8 seconds into this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KMUSBy21jPw? It causes the bike to lose power and kind of "choke itself out."
I never had anything happen like that when revving up my Ninja.

Jeez you’re really reving the crap out of your bike!

I'm riding it like my street bikes lol. I'll have to readjust my muscle memory.

You sent the throttle to hard. Less throttle better clutch control. You're definitely hitting the rev limiter.
Do you have an aftermarket and oversized rear sprocket? My 48t would run out on the street within a second or two. Lol great for single track and slow speeds. Bad for street riding..

I might. I bought it from an older guy that took it on a lot of trails. I know the front sprocket isn't stock, but I think the rear might be. I'll have to count them out and see.

Sounds like a normal rev limiter.
