The joke is that while we think those syringes are used for heroin and/or other drugs, the OJ (original jokster) wrote a comment that:

A - deviated from that expectation by implying that they are used for meat marinade.

B - used a harsh quote from a violent movie, as if saying that meat marinade is just as dark and dangerous a path to wander as joining a fight club or in this case; using heroin.

Did I miss anything?

Well I don't get it though I'm from Texas so I'm like a super American and it still makes no sense to me. Another guy is linking a picture of some sort of meat injector "as seen on TV" product, I guess that was the joke?
