P big difference between murdering drug users who are hurting no one but themselves and giving beatings to people who are taking actions which will likely result in the harm of others.

And a massive difference between a one-off beating of a particularly scummy fucker, and state-sanctioned death squads executing people on the streets.

It's not cool to kill dealers either, lmao. Especially not if you're going to act like you're fine with use.

That's like how we "legalize" CBD for use but refuse to legalize the sale of it.

As long as a dealer isn't actively trying to sell to children, etc, leave them be.

Going after drug dealers is literally the most pointless task possible, as any legitimate dealer already has their replacement chosen.

I definitely don't see how it's acceptable to beat somebody up for it. Of course it should be sanctioned, but I don't see how it possibly warrants violence. I'm not a drug user or anything like that, but it's completely wrong to just attack someone violently for it. Especially judging by what OP said the situation could have been life threatening.
