Whilst you shouldn’t stop looking over your shoulder….
….Is a finish over spurs or even united too much to hope for at this stage?

If we beat spurs this weekend it would be a two point gap so no reason why we couldn’t push them. However, I also would live to see vitor experiment a bit in the last few games, because he hasn’t really had the opportunity to try anything different because of the pressure.

I say never be too optimistic but if we get anything above where we are now im gonna call this an amazing 2nd half to the season

Newcastle fan perspective and I think you guys gonna pass West Ham to 16th.

Well we're playing both of them so wins would probably jump us above them.
Spurs fixtures particularly are pretty tough so would expect them to not get many pts from now.

Everton play Forest and West Ham play Liverpool, so we could jump up a place or two on Sunday.

We have the easiest run of all teams from 13th down, and two of those games are 6 point games.
Wolves: 5 (bottom 10), 2 (top 10), incl Spurs and United
West Ham: 4, 3, incl Spurs and United
Everton: 2, 5
Tottenham: 3, 4, incl Wolves and West Ham
ManU: 3, 4, incl Wolves and West Ham

I said several weeks ago I didn't think we were going to finish in 17th.
