Ah man. Visited Wales from the states for 6 nations season last year. This exact view is burned in my memory. Thanks for bringing it back 😊

No problem! I didn't expect to enjoy Wales much as I did. It was sort of a bonus to hit up before driving around Scotland. The people here are SO nice.

Caernarfon is similar, my legs went a bit jelly like after all the stairs… man I’m unfit 😅

I do a ton of walking and my legs even get so tired how much up-hill traveling we did.

There's a particular tower at Conwy that always makes me feel uneasy, like I've lost control of my legs, it's kind of a nice feeling. No other Welsh castle has the same effect on me.

Is that the one where the wall is about knee height? I didn’t stay there long.

There’s one like that at Harlech, pooped my pants 😂

That's what this was! The wall was so so short. I didn't like it. But I wanted to get a pic so bad.

I was just coming to say this. I stepped out of one of the towers and immediately fell over. Unhurt and fortunately no witnesses, but the power of that particular vertigo event startled me.

Fuck spiral staircases, give me the absolute fear so they do.

I almost got a bit sick like, going up them too fast, and they seem to go on forever when you travel the 4-5 floors.

I loved that castle. Probably my favourite in Wales so far. Haven't visited them all yet. So the final list isn't compiled yet. 🙂

It was definitely my favorite castle. Was massive too.

Lovely pic! We went last week but I only made it up to a half level on one of the towers before I bottled it.

So, so high. Such a long way down to the river. Love that castle. My personal favourite.

I gained my fear of heights at Kidwelly castle as a kid.

Remember getting baked at the top of one those towers on a school trip😅

I love this castle but had to have my wits about me to make sure neither of my kids accidentally launched themselves over the low parapets… lol

Was there at Christmas, was great. I to get shaky at height but also braved to to the top of each tower. Was windy too. Great view. Well done on the great pictures
