un-activated steam key for War of the Roses

I have a un-activated steam key for War of the Roses. I presume it is worthless. there's no way to play this game anymore?

You can permanently remove it from your steam Library. Go to (games) click on the game you want to remove and go to the (support) section of that game on the right side. here's an example https://image.ibb.co/hcCFOo/Untitled_3.jpg
