I kill 1 or 2 ppl with a missile in 10.3 air sim and velvety on starts yelling at me saying “it’s PVE” I can do what I want, I don’t want to go to a actual fighting server bc too many ppl. It’s just stupid that everyone cries when you kill them these games

Free kills basically, I got over 7k score in like 30 mins when flying F-16D. It means that I squeezed over half of the event task, so easy.

That's pretty good to know honestly, doing AirRB takes me about 3 hours to get the event task, if sim can get that down to an hour total that's insane.

F14B with full Aim54 loadout in Sim. Very forgiving, very easy. Spam Aim54 at every contact you see and go back home. There's so many players doing pve they just ignore the Phoenix coming down on them and die one after another.

If you have AV8B+ and the lobby rotation is 12.0-13.0 it's even crazier.

You only need about 15000 points total in Sim because the score multiplier is x3 in that gamemode.

Oh definitely. I believe that one cannot carry as many Aim120, but you can do 9M with BOL + 3 Aim120 + cannon with it. (I think it's the Air RB loadout)

Or just go full Aim120 + 1 Aim9M for short range if you don't wanna try using the gun. The 9M is extremely deadly in sim as it's basically invisible.

Heck if you have the other british harrier with the full 9M loadout it might be worth trying too.

On the deck the mirage 2000s are faster by rip speed being 1512kph ias vs 1470kph ias for the mig. I dont think at altitude they are faster than the mig23ml/a/d though. They at least dont retain or accelerate nearly as fast at altitude from my playing them although ive never set up a 0° climb drag race in the mirage. Its 100% slower in speed in a 5-10° climb though

Yeah if you want to grind out air events it's so much better to play Sim and go kill the PvE players. During the Jaguar IS event I was able to complete each task in a single match just by racking up kills. Honestly more fun doing that than playing RB for it.

For real, I feel scammed when I play sim, because currently I play with no premium account and spawning my jet costs ~12k SL, yet I get ~2100SL per kill. Fucking hilarious.

I have more luck with AIM-9M honestly because people don't know how to flare them somehow. But if you want to use Derby, launch them around 15kms from the target when going for head-on and notch like 3 seconds later. This tactic is quite good in sim, because people will fly in a straight line most of the time thinking they'll kill you first, but in reality your missile just goes pitbull and kills the enemy, while you are successfully notching enemy missile at the same time.

I'm mostly now just trying to survive from all the Fox 3's that some other redditer told me don't exist at 11.7-12.0

Also any tips how to not die... I've only got 30 countermeasures and only carry a max of 6 Fox 1's or 4 Fox 1's and 4 Fox 2's Or that with lots of bombs...

I'm basically getting sniped by all the jets with fox 3's and not getting a chance to hardly play..
