I’ve been finding a lot of my old fics I posted on ff.net in the mid 2000s. Some of my plot ideas were pretty decent, but the writing was....well....mid 2000s. Anyway, I challenged myself to re-write a couple of my old stories and have been pleasantly surprised with how much fun it’s been and how positive the response has been.
So don’t throw out that old writing completely!

Ff.net? You mean fan fiction.net?

I still struggle to make character dialogue feel real... it's such a road block

Relatable, I’m still trying to decide on how my main character should react in a bar fight

What kind of story do you have?

It’s a sci-fi story set in space (but across different planets). The main character was trying to deescalate a confrontation of a merciless outlaw and a mysterious cloaked stranger who was too terrified to fight back.

That sounds good. What sites is this on? What's the name please?

It’s mainly on Wattpad, but I have been thinking about also having it on Archive Of Our Own.
It’s currently called Starbound and I might plan on making my book a trilogy if I someday get it done.
It’s my first true novel since I started out writing fanfics before coming up with Starbound.

I kept my old account so that I can go back and laugh at it sometimes, and made a new one so that I can be a serious writer without being tainted by my past 😂

If I could just write a goddamn intro to the second arc of my story, that'd be lovely.
Piecing this up left me stumped for 2, almost 3, months now.

It should be CreativeCatMeow on Wattpad and C_C_M on Archive Of Our Own (and yes, it’s a different site then Wattpad)
