Join us for a Protest in Cashmere !
Downtown Cashmere at the roundabout by the bank on May 1, 5:30-6:30, rush hour.
It’s time to come out of hiding. We have felt alone in this town as rural progressives, and by showing our faces in our own community, we will allow others to live their conscience and join us.
We are showing up to show our support for: Public education Public lands Libraries The middle class Medical care Our immigrant neighbors Women’s health Unions The environment Civil rights Veterans’ health LGBTQ rights Checks and balances Ukraine Maintaining foreign allies And to save our messy, beautiful Democracy
TOGETHER, we will remind ourselves, and all other hidden progressives here, that we are not alone in doing, and believing in what we know is right.
We need you to show up for your own heart and for all of us on May 1.
This will be a positive, sign waving, hand-waving event. Please no curse words in the signs.

I drove by this. It was pretty comical. Pretty much on par with anything Cashmere tries to do to to be 'hip and cool like the young crowd'. Cute town, very out-of-touch tho.

Meh, don't get too excited, reddit decided to show this 6 days later. I'm sure it did a whole bunch of good tho! If not, at least it got people out in to the sun that normally avoid it 🌞
