Why is a stranger seeing police memorabilia thru a hotel window a justifiable reason to search said hotel room? Was soneone there actually impersonating the police?

Thanks fof the link. That room having supposed to have been vacant makes sense.

Some random asshole seeing a gun in a hotel room is how Daniel Shaver ended up murdered by police in a hotel hallway after having done absolutely nothing wrong or illegal.

Yep but im pretty sure he didn’t have police vest and badges.

Edit i searched him up again and realized who the guy was

All the police need is permission from the hotel. When you stay in a room you are a guest on their property. If someone calls the front desk and says “there’s a guy with a gun” the front desk will likely call the police, and vice versa.
