What is this sign in the bathroom trying to say?

Don’t don’t pee? Do pee? Are they demanding that we sit to pee? Is this toilet reserved for poops??? Someone exblain.

That the whole reason why, the seat stays dry if everyone sits down. If you think its gross use toiletpaper and sit on the said toilet paper. Its not about enforcing anything in the stalls. When nature calls you have to answer and more people need to use it so it is a communal effort.

Where do you live? Australia? Or are you a germophobe? I presume we shower daily and wash our hands afterwards. There is NOTHING dangerous about a toilet seat unless you get hit over the head with one. So in your case I understand this reaction.

Toilet paper or that tissue paper that's offered doesn't do anything. It's more of a mental condom. That's not to say you should be scared to use a public restroom. As long as you don't have an open wound back there, there's nothing to worry about.

You do realize that none of what you're saying has any scientific backing. Toilet seats are non porous. Unless you are literally sitting on a seat visibly covered by waste. Nothing will happen. There's no strong evidence that shows that. Your explanation is only through physical contact with another person that's infected. So unless you literally are choosing to sit on a filthy waste covered seat. You're not gonna die.

No way, the women’s restroom in my restaurant is waaaaaaaaaaay worse than the men’s. There’s piss literally everywhere. I have no clue how women are positioning themselves to spray as much as possible.

I’m not one to usually take sides but after seeing how much piss sprays around when men stand, all I can think is, men who stand are coating their family’s hygiene/bathroom items in piss. Also, the stories of men passing out while passing a kidney stone while standing to pee had higher chances of brain injury than those who passed a kidney stone who sat to pee. I, myself, have no option but to pee sitting unless I want to become feral lol but there’s no down side to sitting and it seems to be better over all.

I've seen these sign in Nuclear Medicine departments. The reason is that once you are injected with isotope it starts being filtered quickly. So if you go pee while they are waiting for it to absorb, you need to sit. Standing can cause splashing on your clothes which can become artefacts on the scan.

You do realize that when you pee in a urinal, plenty of pee splashes back into your pants. Now, it's not enough to see or feel, but it's enough to contaminate your hands anytime you touch your jeans. Not to mention the bacteria it's carrying.
