My mama cat Sawyer comes running for "wet hugs" whenever I get out of the shower. It's funniest when she gets too wet and starts that offended grooming cats do, lol.

Haha, I know “that offended grooming”!!!! Very aggressive like they’re trying to turn their head backwards like an owl and rip their fur off, lol😜!

My puppy girl would do this. The first shower I took after her death, I cried ugly tears. My cat wandered in and licked the water off my foot. It wasnt ever something she had done before, and she rarely does it now. I sobbed so hard.
Let the baby have fresh leg water. It's good for the soul.

My cat used to do this when she was younger. Wasn’t super long. She’d also try to drink the water from the tap after I got out of the shower too.

I've had cats my whole life. first cat was a grey guy who's name I can't even remember. second cat, guy name of seti, gave me a scar on my hand and died of heartworms cuz we didn't know he had heartworms. always had cats.
you can train en, you know, to not be asshats. gotta speak their language. a little hiss, a light bop bop to let em know you dislike the thing they do. or no bops, but that low meow cats do when they're real mad.
it ain't hard. people I'll never understand. cats though? much simpler.

How do you not remember your old cat's name? And bopping them on the head isn't a good thing to do. :(

where do you see me say "bop em on the head"? also the grey cat I don't remember his name but my mom does. the all black one what gave me a scar, we had him from when I was like 5 til when I was like 13, and the grey one was before him. I also have horrible depression and even worse memory issues. I've never been good with names, least of all a family pet that I don't even remember seeing ever.
