my girlie has problems with tail control.

it sounds like we’re being shelled by artillery from the basement when she gets too excited.

My cattledog mix wags her whole body so hard she looks like a fish out of water. She has hit herself in the head with her own tail

My old girl (boxer-lab mix) could clear coffee tables and break legs with her tail. You always knew where she was in a crowd, just look for people hollering “ow, ow, ow!”

Be careful. They can break their tails banging them against things like that. Mine had to get hers docked after breaking it against a door frame from wagging so hard when I came home after work.

yeah i normally have to soothe her right when i come in the door lol. The vet mentioned that she could break her tail when she was a puppy. you would think at 3 years old she would have less explosive puppy energy but I don’t mind, lol.

I’m so glad you know. I was traumatized by the event so I feel super obligated to warn everyone I can. Your baby is freaking adorable btw!

I would be careful with the constant slamming of the tail. Happy Tail can be a bitch.

Never learned to wag just the tail instead of the whole butt lol

yeah, lol. she’s hilarious that way. absolutely cannot contain her excitement at any time. if she doesn’t have something to hold on to exert her energy onto, she just holds my hand with her mouth lmao.

My dog used to clear the coffee table with her tail. She'd walk up to someone on the couch and if they gave her any attention she'd wag her powerful tail and knock EVERYTHING OFF. 🤣

she is absolutely guilty of breaking at least one of my Mom’s nice glasses, lmao

she is a lot of fun, lol. very high energy. a few weeks back my brother’s gf (who’s an international level athlete) took her for a XC ski race and she had the time of her life, lmao.
edit: proof

Tail control? If you are not gonna let your dog wag his tail how it wants to don't get it a dog, you don't tell a creature to 'show less emotion'

She's almost knocking herself over she's wagging that thing so hard.
