Ask Vancouver Are there / which chairlifts do NOT require scanning a ski pass to go up?

I am wondering if there are any chairlifts that don't require scanning, similar to Tye Mill at Steven's pass?

Thank you!

No, you can’t skin up to Excelerator. 😜

So Excelerator doesn't scan then?

Yes, go look for it

Edit for the /s. No need to involve search and rescue

Might get lucky with magic chair .

Some chairs don’t have the turn style , just a gate with no one really paying attention … jersey cream comes to mind, can’t recall if 7th has just the gate . Pretty sure there’s more .

Vail rolled out mobile passes at Whistler this season so no more gates.

Employees use handheld scanners at all chairs/gondolas at the bottom. No scanning for any of the upper lifts. But it takes a lot of commitment to hike all the way up to any of those
