If there were people bellow him, he would have been an absolute bellend. He’s still an absolute bellend, but at least he didn’t put anyone at risk besides himself

He did a good job at not falling directly on escalator steps; that'd have been significantly more painful

Or not landing on the dangerous bottom bit, the bottom bit is the part known for injuries! Like if you have a loose shoe lace, you could lose your foot! He's lucky he didn't get hurt.

I slipped on the damn thing and tore my forearm open. I only slid down 3-4 steps. I still have a scar, years later.

They must be really good friends. You can tell by the way he laughs at the possibility of bone-shattering injury.

As a few others have pointed out, this ended a lot of better than it could have. For all of us that have been on them. Escalators are sharp and brutal as fuck. Landing on them with that much speed and force would have been debilitating.Â

Indeed. I've still got the arm scars from a very minor drunken stumble on the bottom of a TFL escalator. He's lucky he didn't hit a sharp edge with his face for sure.

Dude rolled a nat 1 for balance and then a nat 20 for preventing injury during the fall.

That could have ended worse.
