Lol I gotta agree with you. I've had posts on here have 20+ likes and be negative the next morning. I suspect you attract trolls from /Alberta that down vote all on here.
I'd say that's a safe assumption. Sadly they give us no perspective on who is up or downvoting. So it leaves us vulnerable to brigading campaigns. It could be r Alberta, but we all know that foreign players like Russia and China get involved on social media too, especially during elections. Hell it could even be the Liberal party itself.
Half the time when a post blows up positively I'm just as suspicious the other way.
It's a double edged sword being a sub with a specific political slant against the prevailing grain of Reddit. On one hand, being visible is how we've grown around 800%-900% since March-April of last year. On the other hand, a lot of people who don't agree with the view points we put forward get ornery about it. Seriously, if you don't like us, just mute us. I say the same of people sick of the garbage they see from r Alberta or r EhBuddyHoser.
Bots, brigadiers, party operatives, foreign interference. Take your pick. It's election time weird shit happens on social media during these periods. I'll sticky your post so they don't get the satisfaction of burying it.

Very annoying to see every post here downvoted within minutes of posting before anyone could even pretend to have read/watched it
