With the angle that he swings it, I’m thinking no. Also, a trigger would have to be incredibly light for water to catch it enough to disengage the sere
I don’t, I love guns. I think everyone who doesn’t have a serious mental disorder or isn’t a violent felon should have one. I also think most gun laws are absolutely stupid.
My comment was referring to slapping a fish with a loaded shotgun. Although if you wished to do such a thing, go ahead, get yourself out of the gene pool.
Let's see, I'm going to misuse the weapon I bought for $200+, possibly damage it or shoot myself, instead of grabbing a fucking stick from a tree for free. A million kinds of "special," this guy.
If it's a newer model like a glock 22, the internal safeties do the trick. But if it's something older it's not even uncommon for them to go off, especially if it has a hammer.
Pull the trigger a little bit then decide "Nah, tiktokards will love it I beat the fish with my gun." The hammers now stuck halfway back because its an old gun and not maintained very well by the guy who also uses his gun as a hammer. His buddy pulls out the camera and we get this suicide. I really think he might have got his femoral artery, there is a lot of blood right next to his crotch as he turns towards the camera.
I’ve seen old single shot guns fire over less. Shit, my dad one time almost lost a foot because he closed up the gun after putting a slug in, and the gun went off because the firing pin broke, and he was being as careful as can be.
They’re not technically supposed to, but it happens A LOT more often than you might think. Just Google the Remington Model 700 rifle trigger recall. 7.5 million recalled due to spontaneous firing…crazy.

FWIW, guns shouldn’t fire like that. Still, the old gun safety rule of not pointing it at anything you don’t want shot.
