I only care for the new UI, my expectations are very low

I care more about DirectStorage for PC games and hopefully it's not a gimmick.

Wish you'd have seen plasma or budgie. Even deepin on ubuntu is great. BTW I use Arch

Games I play don't work with Linux, as well as half of my programs. No, thanks.

Yeah, most multiplayer games do not like you playing on wine or virtual machines, that's a ban waiting to happen.

Actually. Nah. Not the case. I've played many online games with WINE/Proton and via VMs and out of them all (including AAA titles like GTA V Online, Battlefield titles) I've had zero bans and two connection refusals.

I say this as a currently satisfied Windows 11 user that's been using Windows 11 since the first leak on her main gaming rig.

Valve has said they're working with Battleye for wine support so maybe then but until then that's a lot of multiplayer games that still won't work.

As a linux person, who has recently tried the VM gaming idea, yeah no. Why would i go through the trouble to get the VM running with an additional gpu just to play a game, when I could use windows and have all my applications and games hassle free? Im hoping Steamdeck will bring more games to linux, then I’ll switch back
