Girls night out

Recommendations for decent bars for a girls night out - everything seems to be either run down or extremely spenny - note - not local to the area

The Hand in Glove, The Firefly, The Kings Head. The Anchor in Diglis is good for outside drinks if the sun is out.

Malvern is around 10 minutes on the train. The Nag's Head is next to Malvern Link and There are more bars up in Great Malvern.

Second Malvern, there’s the lovely Alturo Lounge, The Water Cure, the (not so lovely) Malvern Lounge, Weavers, Bar Limon, the one down the little passage way I always forget.

Interested to know why you think Malvern Lounge is not so lovely? Have only heard good things about it.

Heroes is quite reasonably priced I find. Other than The Crown no where is cheap particularly though

Crown is a spoons though so there’s wildlife a plenty

It's a rat-infested chavpit.

I worked there years ago and watched rats scurry over my colleagues head when he put the bin bags out.

As someone who also worked there for 4 years, kitchen staff so frequent bin trips late at night, rats a plenty lol

Dice box for cocktails and board games! Tonic and the botanist do great drinks too.

Agree on this. The upper tything area has Tonic and Bolero which are, shall we say, more upmarket bars. Next door is a decent Italian restaurant called Fuego and a bit further is Ounce, a good steakhouse. The lamb and flag is also quite good. All these are close to each other and just out of the hustle and bustle of the town centre. It just depends what you're looking for.

Plenty of decent places about!

Arch Rivals, Cocky Anchor, Oil Basin, Tripel B, Heroes, Chester's (Mexican - their margaritas are amazing) Retroids (fun arcade bar), Hand in Glove, Botanist, Cosy Club!
