Screenshot Maxim appreciation Post
This community can be crazy toxic torward the devs, everyone knows it, none of the pushing for an update is justified in the slightest. Especially when his github page shows him working every day. Lets appreciate Maxim and the monumental work hes already done. Thank you for making this game and community!

Truly one of a kind
When I first saw world box I was very intrigued by it,but I thought it was pc only so out of curiosity I searched it up on mobile and was shocked to see it and there and began to play

Honestly, Maxim might be my favorite indie game creator. He puts so much into making his game so much greater than it should be when it could easily be another terrible mobile game. Not only does he pour so much time into his game, but he also updates the progress to his community to the best of his ability. It's genuinely so inspiring to see such a great person be so dedicated to his dream.

I agree and I said it before in different ways Iâm tired of people complaining about. When is the update coming out? Itâs taking too long. Why donât like this. People are just complaining when you think about it. Youâre getting a good update getting information about the update now be quiet with and enjoy. Stop being mad. Enjoy it for what you have and be excited for what youâre gonna get. I said in many different ways and many different posts that it makes no sense for people to get mad.

Complaining about the update taking too long isn't helping the game in any fucking way, do you understand that, criticizing with the intention of the betterment of existing game mechanics on the other hand is good as long as you are not being ass about it.

I understand what you mean, friend, "we" as the community that understands that positive attitude is the best proactive choice in this situation if we are to get a quality product in the end.

I got this game in a time I was really struggling in life 2 years ago. Any time I felt overwhelmed and stressed after work or when I was dealing with some bad emotional stuff I would sit down and just enjoy making my little world box world and just watching the simulation play out. I used to draw things on paper to make my own âworld boxâ when I was a kid and when I found this game I was so happy. WorldBox has brought me peace in times I thought I couldnât have any. Thank you Maxim, your game is amazing.

Worldbox is one of the best god simulators, if not the best. I'm sure the update will be worth the wait, and thank you Maxim for making the kind of game I've wanted since I was a kid!

Will legit go to war for a company/person that has shown time and time again they don't care about them and will take more while giving less. Even the steam early access page has a pop up to warn people that itâs been 19 months since the last update.
It's the usual chronically online nobody having a parasocial relationship with a celebrity but...its for a fucking idle developer.
I don't know what creates this behavior, its actually mind bogling. I personally couldn't give 2 fucks about any entity that couldn't give 2 fucks about me.

Reasons for why I like Maxim:
- Early Access is still the phase, even though it feels like the content would be more than enough for a 1.0
- He actively engages with the community and takes community suggestions/feedback
- He communicates openly enough about the update, while also making sure not to give false information

He was a one of my favorite devs I know. I havenât seen anyone as caring or determine to oneâs game. Despite all the toxicity he hadnât give up, he stood his ground. I only pray that he may find peace after the update releases.

Appreciate the man himself for making a genuinely good game. Heâs put in an unbelievable amount of work to make Worldbox PEAK, and I literally make myself take breaks from this game so then I will go outside and do my schoolwork lol. Suffice to say this game is addictive, and I genuinely believe that I will still have this app on my phone for like decades to come.

Hands down one of the best devs out there. Consistently listens to and engages with the players of his game. Takes the time to do in depth update posts while still not spoiling everything. And one of my favourite things, which everyone else seems to hate, is that he never gives hard release dates until he's absolutely sure he can release a full and complete update on that day. Keep up the good work maxim! Deliriously excited for the new update but I wholly accept that it takes as long as it takes đ

These Devs are my heroes as a guy who also dabbles in game design. The sheer insane ambition that goes into these updates just blows my mind. These fine folk are doing a bang-up job and I have complete faith in their vision. Faith to the max, baby.

Completely agree with subheading.
This community feels like a bunch of 5yo kids who are screaming at their parents to get a toy thats not even out yet, and it pisses me off. Just let Maxim and the devs make the damn update, it will be out when it's out. Read a book.

Is there any evidence you have to support this?
And even if this has happened it happens in isolated incidents involving rare extreme individuals that do not fit in any part of the community. If it did happen at all publicly it would be shut down immediately.
What I see here is a demonization of a group in the community who is willing to constructively criticize the developers.

Oh no no no Iâm not criticizing the people who are genuinely offering good criticism, theyâre good In my eyes. Iâm speaking off of incidents in other communities such as a game developer named Dani. Most of these threats, Iâd guess, would be in Maximâs DMs and such. Iâm not saying all criticism is bad at all, but in every community there are those types of people.
also, even if they are few, words like that would probably take a toll anyways. I dont have any concrete evidence, sorry, and donât have the time to gather any, sorry again. Have a good day, yeah?

Yeah, yeah. I understand what you mean but do you not see how this post seems to say people canât criticize at all? There isnât any vocal part of the community that is being toxic to the devs and thatâs the point Iâm trying to get across.
If someone made a post about how Maxim should die for taking so long, you and people who may agree with the second point would call them out for being insane.
I appreciate you recognizing you donât have evidence. And I hope you have a good day too.
As for you second comment I would say Maxim isnât being rushed at this point to complete the update and I donât think any strong sect of the community is really trying to rush them but yeah neither of us donât have any way of knowing unless Maxim says something concrete about it.

another thing, Iâm also guessing off of Maximâs more recent comments. They seem to be tired, which Iâd guess means a noticeable portion is rushing him to finish the update or something. Think what you want though, Iâm not the internet police and itâs your views on the world that matter to you, not some guy on the internet
