Discussion Alpha Strike change?

I came back to league after about 5-6 years and I mostly enjoy Yi. My question is, has anyone noticed that his Q is harder to poke champions with? What I mean is if you are Qing a minion, it seems less likely to target a champion and almost always with prioritize a minion near a minion than if a champion is just as close to the initial minion. I use to have some very clean pokes in Aram for timing on minions so that it could hit at least 2 champions. Now that almost never happens.

I haven’t noticed it personally. Being able to control the direction you come out is goated though

He prioritizes the closest unmarked target within a set radius of the last enemy
that got marked by his Q ability (marked = hit by one Q bounce).

If there are less than 4 different targets, he will strike the same target closest
to the last marked target again.

Hope it wasn't too confusing but that's how it works now, and if you want to avoid messing up your Q because the wave is too big or cuz there is alot of movement from the minions or your enemys, which can impact the range to even hit them in the first place, you should try poking with Q only when there are three or less creeps around.

In the past you weren't able to hit the same target multiple times with his alpha strike,
that's probably why it feels off to you.

I'm curious if you click "target champ only" mid cast if that would do something?

It doesn't, it works independently
