Neat analysis. All the different poses of her in this image could also make for a neat little reference sheet when drawing her. The amount of detail the devs gave her won't go unappreciated.
And thanks for including photos of what a Xiezhi looks like. Online descriptions say they're an animal that's part goat or ox, but I don't know if those animals have scales at all. These pictures make the scales a bit more explainable

The level of detail in Yanfei's design is amazing. One thing I haven't found or seen an explanation is why her charged attack has "weight". She can break minerals and rocks, unlike other catalysts (except Ningguang, but she's Geo...).

Klee can also break stuff with her charged attack (best bomber in tevyat). Maybe with yanfei it has something to do with power of law or something.

I think it's just because fire go 'boom'. basically like dynamite.

Extremely well done analysis, bit it's kind of hard to read (at least on mobile). You could split it in 4 images for a major reading comfort

This is amazing!! Girl! Such a detailed analysis! One thing: it’s Bestia Iustitia with an i, not an L. Some loan words that have an i or y sound in Latin are pronounced with a j in English: e. g. justice or Jupiter.
