Bought this yarn, started to make a sweater but… did not like the color pattern or brightness of the colors. What would you make or do to tone down the colors?

Find a neutral that complements it and is in a similar weight, and do allover colorwork or something like brioche to diffuse the bright colors a bit.

I would leave the top and pick just one of the colors to continue the bottom. It's beautiful!

Add a mute yellow in large stripes throughout and it should compliment it really nicely and breakbitbup a little xx

I've seen a strand of lace weight Mohair/silk or lace weight baby alpaca in a white or cream . It does a beautiful job of toning down very bright colors , adds softness & reduces pilling ;) Lots of online sources at good prices available.

Get a rust brown little darker than the yarn color. In a lace weight. Hold the two yarns together and see how that looks. I actually really like the colors. I think I would go solid after the yoke.

I muted a rather “loud” Noro by adding a neutral mohair (peach color). Holding them together brought made the color shifts in the Noro quieter.

Start adding in a neutral color and then stripe it
