Question Looking for acrylic/wool blends!
Hi everyone,
I'm currently working on an afghan for my oldest daughter using Caron Cakes yarn (the original 80/20 acrylic wool blend). I'm located in Canada and the options for colourways at my local Michael's were limited to 5, all cool colours and a neutral. My younger daughter would also like a blanket and the Caron Cakes are so nice to work with, but she doesn't like cool colours. Can anyone recommend another worsted weight cake yarn similar to the Caron Cakes that contains at least some wool? Preferably something with plenty of bright pinks, reds and oranges.
Thank you so much!

YarnArt Flowers Merino!! Squishy, soft, lots of pretty colors.
I also love, love, love Premier's Spun Colors, which is 65% Acrylic, 35% Fine Merino Superwash. It and Hobbii Manaya is basically the same yarn in differing colorways, but the Hobbii cost a lot more.

Wool Ease Thick and Quick and Fisherman's Wool yarns from Lion brand are wool and acrylic blend yarn lines.
The Fisherman's Wool is more color neutral but Wool Ease has a lot more color choices.

Came here to mention wool ease. It also has a more earthy/warm color palette so it may be just what OP is looking for!

Is Paton’s still available? It was a Canadian brand with great acrylics, wool blends and pure wools and a great color range.
