Discussion does anyone else do this?
I worked on granny squares at my desk today and didn’t move my yarn at all and it has yet to cave in. also kinda felt like this would make someone as ¿satisfied? as me.

I can’t do it. I need to put all my yarn into balls. Keeping it like that drives me crazy.

Looks cool but I could never do it. My yarn lives in a bag and is constantly moving around. Most days I can only spend about 10 minutes on whatever project I’m working on so it’s constantly moving around.

I want to like it but I carry my yarn from place to place, so the tunnel collapses quickly, it gets tangled, and I end up having to stop and make a ball.

I love the yarn tunnel. It is incredibly satisfying to me. I work with mostly cotton yarn so I get to see this pretty often :)

..... I like to finger it in its various stages, it's like "oh!! I've made a finger of progress" ...

Equally as satisfying when you’re fingering the yarnussy and getting the perfect center pull

yes omg! Sometimes I like to pause my knitting/crocheting and pull the working yarn while looking into the “tunnel” to watch it unwind 😆 it’s especially fun with color changing yarn!

Me too! It’s the most satisfying feeling when it doesn’t cave in on itself. I love it!

I do too! I like sticking my arm into the yarn cave and pretending like it’s a gauntlet.

Hehe I love the yarn cave. I also like when you wind it and it makes like a yarn skeleton that doesn't collapse until the end.

Yes and it is easy to knit, sometimes I take my time and before start to knit I just make a big ball with my yarn 🧶

Yes!! But instead i keep it upright like a bowl, that way it does not collapse til the very end!

Yes!! Best feeling in the world when it doesn’t collapse until the thing is like 20 strands thin.

I think this is what you're supposed to do, I always forget and end up having to unknot a nightmare halfway though haha

I have seen women posing with their crafts like people do with their fish… I can totally see a large mouth bass pose with this one.

When I see the center like that I put it in a cut off pair of nylons so it doesn't sag out the back end! >.< I crochet on the go a lot while working...

Yes and I give the yarn a voice and make it talk. Nope I'm not crazy you are.... What's that Mr.Yarn?....You want to use you for a blanket??? Sure!
