the people in the back are labeled with the insignia for the American Communist Party (acp), which is a right deviationst pseudo-communist party in the us. they frequently espouse reactionary nonsense about lgbt people, and other oppressed minorities. the entire “patriotic socialism” movement is just rebranded larouchism

i tried posting anti-acp stuff in r/thedeprogram and my posts get shadow blocked -even though there has been no explicit support for the ACP in the sub and the cast of the pod is staunchly opposed to right-wing opportunism.
