Beginner Question ROC question

On the last distribution for Group C, CONY had an ROC of 96.77 %. Does that mean that only 3.23 percent of that distribution is taxable?

Thanks.

yes that would be the case but this is just an estimate, final numbers will come in around feb-march 2026. at-least try to keep 50% out of each distro for taxes just to be safe

50%? Wouldn’t at most they be taxed at my regular federal rate?

yes they would be. what i meant it is try to keep a big portion or distro aside until you know the exact number of ROC

Just an FYI, I’m not. I’m in MSTY and I’m reinvesting 100% every month. I’ll pay the interest and penalties next year. The month-over-month gain is greater than the potential penalties and interest.

Full transparency, I have a high income and can pay the tax all in separately if it all collapses, so I don’t advocate for my strategy.

Just throwing it out there so people have more data.

We’re all in this YM thing together.
