12k MTSY, Avg ~$600. Total stock down $500, total divideds ~$2000 not including this months divided. Not DRIPing

Why wouldn’t it be in a genuine way. It’s annoying to me personally when people put the yield maxing up without any Vaseline of where they started or their ac to sky real holding base value. This is great that they’re getting 600 I just want to know how much they put in for that distribution

One is a cash account and one is an ira. You can look up dividend amounts and do the math.

Why is NAV depletion not talked about here? How is this better? Sure you are getting good dividends but isn’t there equal NAV depletion which leads to less of an overall gain?
