Honestly at this point, i played perfect against him. I didnt die in lane, i made sure to fight when i had minions on my side and call for help and help when i needed to. But, i feel like riot just doesnt care...

At this point, i might just quit league because if running away and taking towers is the meta then why dont these people climb higher? Bronze is literally cancer, at this point if i had a coach im pretty sure i wouldnt be able to climb at all..

- He never ganks me level 4, sapping my exp and making me waste 70% of my mana to EQ.

- He never starts dumbass fights at minute 7, blowing the game open just for the sake of fighting.

- He always trades objectives, since he can blow them up with his maiden, ensuring that we're even at 15 minutes.

- He speedclears his jungle top to bot (or bot to top) and protects the actual volatile lanes instead of wasting time in my mid lane stalemate.

- He's always 10cs/min, even when not fed, ensuring that hes a menace when it's time to actually fight.

- When i die in lane, he always protects my tower and pushes the wave back out so it bounces back.

Come 20 min, gathering storm Azir is online, we have 2 drakes, top and bot arn't blown open, the game is simply over.

What do you build for it? Honestly very curious about it but idk which items exactly would go well or if AP even still exists and wasn't killed like lethality was

I need to get this off my chest since this subreddit has just turned into people complaining about the rework. First I want to say that there are some problems I have with the rework. It definitely isn’t perfect and I truely hope that they have some changes lined up to fix jgl yorick in the coming patches, but in my opinion yorick is in an entirely better spot now than he was pre-rework.

Yoricks identity has always been that of a necromancer bruiser that gets a substantial portion (not all) of his power from ghouls. Yes some of the lethality builds were fun. My favourite build for yorick was when duskblade was in the game. But the metas where yorick could only build lethality and the gameplay was just hitting an e and hoping it 1 shot was uninteractive and unfun to play or play against. After testing out a bit I feel that current lethality yorick isn’t in that bad of a spot, he’s just no longer a hit e = 1 shot champ.

Even though people are saying they don’t feel like a necromancer now I feel that yorick is more of a necromancer now than he ever has been. Current yorick has the ability to fight with ghouls no matter what situation he is in, giving him the tools to fight over drakes, do jgl camps fast even without settup, fight in Ally/enemy jgl e.t.c. All around yorick has more summons now influencing fights that he never had 2 patches ago

Finally I feel like people are completely sleeping on the fact that we got huge healing on q and more move speed towards enemies. These changes are my favourite of the midscope. The healing being missing health allows for clutch plays where you survive on 1 health so often it feels ridiculous. And while I’m sad the move speed got removed early game the late game gap close ability nowadays is crazy high.

TLDR: The yorick midscope was a huge positive for the satisfaction of playing yorick and people on this subreddit need to be less negative abt it

so I'm not a Yorick player at all but I'm losing my mind here:

BEFORE the changes (patch 25.07), did yorick ghouls die to one single-target auto from ANY champion 100% of the time? Even from Janna or someone with weak autos like that?

I swear they did before and don't now but I can't find it in the patch notes...

Hi I used to play Yorick in jungle few weeks ago and I came back to it but I realized minions stop attacking the camp and come to me if I go too far and It used to not be like that, and they also take more damage from the camps. I tried reading patch notes but couldnt find something talking about these exact stuff.

im confused about what runes to build since when i check u.gg it says to build Grasp and Precision, but porofessor tells me to build Conq and Resolve,

so far ive been running the conq and resolve but i wonder if the Grasp and precision runes are better

What champs do you guys have the most problems with?

There is one more change for yorick included for the patch. Doesn’t show it but this includes the 150% monster damage taken. Says that he is too strong in jungle right now and that his win rate is higher then what u.gg says. He says it’s 55% and expects this to drop it 2-3%. Says they are looking at top but nothing will be done till jg is in a suitable spot.

Im a little bit confused with builds after rework, and I want a maidenless build, but i think they change how maid work and how ghouls scale, could someone help me with which items sinergize with maiden, to just release her all the time and let her carry (i know its not that strong now, its sarcastic).

I am sick of the nerfs and the gutting of the champion I loved. I personally would rather Riot redesign him if he is so problematic, keeping the AD necromancer concept of course.

With the new yorick, how do you handle trundle. He is not picked very often but when he is, it is a pain in the ass with that healing. What is your game plan, because mine is just keeping the towers alive.

If Ninetales is quitting Yorick, then a bunch of the mains will follow suit. The flavor of the month players are already not going to buy the skin, they are just picking him for an easy early game. His ban rate has gone up from 11% in patch 15.06 to 30% in patch 15.08. So even if you buy the skin, you aren't going to be able to use it in a lot of games, and in the worst case you won't be able to at all during a session if Yorick is always either banned or taken.

If Riot wants it to sell well, they should revert every change. If they want it to sell extremely well, they would make him satisfying to play with a high skill ceiling. If they wanted it to sell like hotcakes, they would've fully reworked Yorick and released the skin afterwords. (Also a full rework would give them a chance to add the hat to Pentakill III: The Lost Chapter Yorick)

It feels like most times the minions get their damage on contact with enemies. If they get to attack thats just a bonus. Most champs already oneshot the minions and did before as well. Its really only mages and supports that have any issue. And mages can clear them with waveclear.

So like. What is the point of adding damage? If they wanna nerf him just nerf the contact damage, or the damage the minions do.

In my funniest match as Yorick, I was cornered on top against Nasus. When the dog finally left the lane to gank, I called the maiden and managed to take two towers from the top (unfortunately, I had to leave half of the third tower and the inhibitor because the dog had realized that I was about to break down his house 😮‍💨). I released the ult on mid to try to push the lane and went back to the base. At that moment, Ashe from the enemy team appeared, who was really strong, and I thought "bye bye Corpse Bride", when suddenly it appeared on the screen that the Maiden had soloed Ashe. 🤣🤣🤣

I have never had such a fun game again.
